Houston Disaster Relief

Dear Members and Friends of the MPI Gulf States Community,

We are deeply saddened by all of the devastation and loss caused by Hurricane Harvey and now, Hurricane Irma.

We extend our deepest sympathies to all those impacted, especially to our fellow MPI Communities in Houston, Tampa Bay, Greater Orlando, North Florida and South Florida. Authorities are working to assess the magnitude of Irma’s destruction, and currently, millions of people are still without electricity. We have reached out to our chapter members and have not learned of any direct loss or damage. If there are any incidents that we may not be aware of, please do let us know.

We here in the Gulf States know first-hand what it means to experience something like this, and we also know that the road to recovery is a long one. Please join us in sending warm thoughts and prayers now and in the months ahead to the affected communities.

If you would like to show your support with a donation, we want to make you aware of the MPI Houston Disaster Relief Fund, created by the MPI Houston Area Chapter for members directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  A Hurricane Irma relief fund is likely on the way as well and we encourage you to stay tuned for future announcements.
